The trades have always been a part of my adult life. In 1989, bored of post secondary school, I launched my first business. An exterior, residential home painting business. I would call people listed in the phone book and if I got the job I would load up my hockey bag with paint and equipment and ride my bicycle to the job site. I had very humble beginnings.

I continued on in the painting industry and eventually founded WOW-1DAY Painting. “WOW” has gone on to be a 60+ unit franchisor throughout the US and Canada. My team and I were honoured with a 2012 BC Business award for Innovation.

After moving on from that business, I founded and built a successful residential renovation company in Richmond, BC. I operated that business for 10 years and then decided to slow down and move to Vancouver Island.

Now in beautiful Qualicum Beach, I have returned to my roots and have been revitilizing kitchens for homeowners by utilizing my extensive background in painting.
I have been married to an amazing woman for 30 years, have 2 wonderful adult daughters and 2 equally wonderful cats.
